Jennifer Winitz

“There's nothing more enjoyable than seeing my clients improve and grow from my Pilates instruction so they can function better and feel better no matter what life brings their way.”
~ Jennifer Winitz

Jennifer Winitz began her professional career in 1991 as a ballet dancer for the Westport Ballet Theatre of Kansas City. When she left dancing, she began to take Pilates from Susan Hard. She found the mental and physical aspects of the work extremely rewarding; which led her to pursue teaching Pilates as a professional career.

She moved to Chicago in 2008 to complete her training under the guidance of Juanita Lopez, a Level 1 Romana's Pilates® Master Teacher Trainer. Jennifer devoted herself to her Pilates training and received her certification after completing a comprehensive, nine-month training and apprenticeship program. She began teaching at Pure Pilates in 2009.

I've had mild scoliosis all my life. Susan and Jennifer have worked with me to build my strength, flexibility and proper body alignment. Now, I literally walk out of Pure Pilates feeling like a taller person. The muscle sculpting and weight loss are simply a bonus!
